ABOUT THE PROJECT:
Este projeto foi contemplado pelo Edital Free book proposed in 2015 by the Cultural Foundation of Curitiba, and it was a cycle of readings that carried out 100 actions to encourage reading in the Municipality of Curitiba during the first half of 2016. of libraries of the Department of Education as well as in the Schools of the public education network, had as its central motto the interface between three artistic languages - literature, theater and cinema - in the establishment of a moment of fruition and poetic exchange between the participants from readings of the works of the English poet and playwright William Shakespeare, and of several other authors that dialogue and reference the Shakespearean universe.
In general terms, each of the meetings had as its central objective the collective reading of one of Shakespeare's dramatic works and a mediation debate from which some references were presented to the participants, and their readings and comments shared, being a very important part of the work of literary mediation the reception of the voices of the readers, since it is through the verbalization about its relation with the read work that this is effective.
_cc781905-5cde-3194 -bb3b-136bad5cf58d_The actions of the cycle were divided into 10 readings of each of the 10 pieces selected for this work: The Taming Shrew, The Tempest, As You Like It, Hamlet, Macbeth, Othello, King Lear, Romeo and Juliet, A Night's Dream of Summer and The Merry Wives of Windsor.
_cc781905-5cde-3194 -bb3b-136bad5cf58d_ Participants received copies of scenes from the presented text to accompany a collective reading led by the mediator/actor Ali Freyer and the guest artists: Juliane Souto , Janaína Micheluzzi, Ligia Quirino and Rodrigo Hayalla. Other scenes were presented as dramatic reading by the actor and the mediator/actor. A the reader's relationship with the work begins to be explored in another way, since the participant starts watching the dialogues that make up the narrative being interpreted by the actors.
_cc781905-5cde-3194 -bb3b-136bad5cf58d_ In a third moment, other scenes of the play were exposed through the appreciation of excerpts from films by different filmmakers: Franco Zeffirelli, Baz Luhrmann, Max Renhardt, Michael Hoffman, Kenneth Branagah, Justen Kurzel, Leila Hipólito, David Richards, Michaell Eliot, Stuart Burge, Vishal Bhardwaj , Orson Wells. In each of the meetings, excerpts from at least two film versions of the play were read.
_cc781905-5cde-3194 -bb3b-136bad5cf58d_ And so, in the intertwining between the shared reading of the text, the scene presented by the actors and the fragments of film works, the contact of the young people with the imagery of Shakespeare and his creations. And in the subsequent debate, not only were the impressions about history and its theme addressed, but also the intercessions and specificities of these narrative languages, their elements and potentialities were discussed; in order to, from this experience, expand the participants' repertoire and their sensitivity in relation to aesthetic diversity and the multiple readings and trips that can be undertaken in the world of art.
